Travel Notes

Deceased father's hometown is Sipirok, Tapsel located approximately 40 km from the city of Padang Sidimpuan. Small town Sipirok should always be passed when taking the land route across the Trans Sumatra from Jakarta to Medan or vice versa. From the field when we ride private vehicle trips can take 8-9 hours and only stopped to eat alone. Direct one-day trips are very tiring, especially road conditions in many places are still holes to make the trip seem longer and uncomfortable, though journey along the beautiful natural scenery. To make the trip back home more memorable and enjoyable, a few years ago I and my son who was 9 years old along with my college friend who had German nationality and 14-year-old son to travel to Sipirok follow the tour route and choose their own places place to be we stopped by the tourist info we have gathered previously. Here is a record of our trip:

We drove to the river Wampu, because he wanted to see the tourist facilities "Rafting" (Rafting) and in addition we get the chance to see bird life and other wildlife, is very exciting. On the banks of the river Wampu, we visited the falls on foot. My friend and her son really enjoyed the little wild nature, contrary to my child tired, ha ha .. you little town. In the afternoon we stopped at a place of rest is simple and clean to drink tea and coffee.

Bukit Lawang Day 5 - Visit to the Place of Conservation of Forest People

Travel to Brastagi with winding roads such as the peak are very menyenangkan.Kami stopped at the river and waterfalls Sembahe Sikulikap. In addition, we do not forget to visit the village of Batak Karo tribe in Peceren and stopped at the fruit market.

Day 7 Brastagi - Samosir Island

After arriving in Parapat with our Fery ride across to the island. There we checked into the hotel with Batak architecture, dinner and relax enjoying the beautiful view of Lake Toba at night ..

We climbed back into Parapat Fery and drove to Sipirok. On the way we stopped at a pineapple plantation, clove and coffee. Besides, we also visited a traditional market in Balige Sigur-gur and hot springs Sipoholon. Before reaching the city Sipirok, we also enjoy the beauty of nature by walking on the riverside Sarula and see the rice fields in the hills that reminded us of the rice field in Bali. In fact Sipirok existing three-star hotel called Hotel Torsibohi is located in Jalan Padang between Tarutung-Sidimpuan, right in the middle of rice fields with beautiful natural scenery, but my family in Sipirok require us to sleep at his home.

Well in our Sipirok streets with motor beca visit the market, excellent schools on the hill and my cousin's house, seeded TSB Teachers in schools and with our car also visited the following attractions:

* Lake Marsabut
* Village Hutasuhut
* Hot Water Harite

From Sipirok we actually want to continue on our way up to Bukit Tinggi, but because there is the customary wedding attracted my German friends and limited time to go back to Medan, then we decided to spend our vacation in Sipirok and Padang Sidimpuan. Actually near Sipirok or rather a few km from Padang airport are tiny Aek Sidimpuan Godang and we can fly direct to Medan. But we go by road to Medan, because it will stop at Padang Sidimpuan again to visit family and return the borrowed car to the family in Medan.

Not presumed that the trip back home to travel tour Sipirok can be used as a beautiful and unforgettable by arranging schedules and travel routes of our own and the ability to plan its budget in accordance with their respective budget. By collecting information from the Bureau, Travel Bureau at home and abroad, so we decided to make this trip. My friend told me, that when he returned to Germany, he held one evening a slide show in his apartment by inviting more friends and they were very enthusiastic to do the same trip, but may be continued up to Bukit Tinggi .. Not bad already promoting tourist attractions in North Sumatra and particularly late father's hometown Sipirok to friends and acquaintances in Jerman.Mudah I hope this trip notes useful and can assist in determining the route of travel and tourist attractions to be visited in order to perform journey back home.
